Almost perfect... but...

"I really want to love this stuff, but it has a couple of flaws that I don't think I can get passed.
The pros: It makes the skin look PERFECT (and perfectly natural). It has spf, it is the easiest foundation to apply that I have ever used, AND it has enough coverage to eradicate my dark circles and a mosquito bite on my cheekbone. All excellent reasons to keep using it.
The cons: I have very fair yellow-toned skin. 'Light' is too dark for me (but the yellow tone is good), 'Porcelain' is the the perfect paleness but is not as yellow (it is is more neutral-peachy) so it isn't a perfect match either...
I can wear the Porcelain much better than the Fair, but it means blending it down my neck and over my collar bones.
Most people would probably think the match was OK, but I want perfection (don't we all?)
Oh, and one other thing - I think I may be finding the bismuth oxychloride a tiny bit irritating. More so in the Light shade than the Porcelain. The sensation is a mild tickling itch, rather like having a hair brush my face, but brushing the non-existent hair away doesn't help."

Pros: lightweight covers up acne scarring
Cons: limited shades for fairer asian skin
"i have fair, but yellowy asian skin, so it's a shame they don't have my exact shade. the golden medium is still far too pink for my liking... i've read reviews that the light has more yellow undertones so i'll be trying that out. perhaps mixing golden medium with light might help balance my skin color out. i think applying make-up onto the neck is unpleasant, so i'd rather avoid that. as a product, i do love the easy application and not having to touch my face with my fingers. there's virtually no clean-up afterwards and it's also great for warmer weathers. this will be my first winter with pur minerals, so i hope my skin doesn't get super dry."

Fast, easy, simple. Shade is everything

Pros: easy to learn how to use, not as messy as other powders, sold in stores in casse you need face to face help, relitivly cheaper then other makeup
Cons: need help in person to find shade
"Im 21, and when other girls where learning how to do make up in middle school with their moms; I was more of the tomb boy sort. So, now married and dipping into my more girly side I found I have no idea what im doing. I was looking for something simple, easy to learn, and realitvly cheap. Thats when I came across this make up. I ordered the starter kid, however I choose the wrong shade for my skin, unknowingly. So at first, I thought the makeup was horrible. Easy to put on but looked silly. Like i had a powdered mask on. It also didnt cover up the sun spots on my face, or red blemishes. I was quick to write it off till I came across it in an Ulta store. There i learned I was using the wrong shade, and that if I used a concealer brush rather then JUST the chisle brush, I could apply it to areas that need heavier coverage. Like that red spot on my nose that never seems to go away. Now with the right shade, and the correct tools for my personal needs, Pur is abselutly perfect! One two three and im done! Nothing to complicated, and hardly any mess. I could be running late to an appointment and not have to choose between my hair and my makeup. 2 minutes and the makeups finished! And whats really great is my skin is usually dry and flaky ( my cheeks mostly) and since ive been using this make up my skin has been more hydrated. With shea butter rather then anti ageing teas like other makeups have, I dont have to worry about usuing this on my younger skin. And older ladies who (more then likely by now found good anti aging products) dont have to worry about a clash between their make up and their other products. Where I would recommend this product to anyone, I highly suggest you get to a Dillards or an Ulta and have them help you find your correct shade first. Its amazing how having the wrong shade can compleatly turn you off to something."
