Pros: great coverage
"I've tried several other powder foundations which wound up looking "chalky" and making my skin look older. Not this one.....it looks fantastic once it's on, and doesn't look "powdery" at all. It does a great job hiding scars and sun spots too. Plus it's fast! It doesn't break me out like most liquids do. I'm in love!
One caveat though, I wish it did a little better job holding back the shine on my nose...but that's nothing a little blot won't fix."

Pros: great coverage and perfect colour match, improved my skin health amazingly

"I decided to try Purminerals after becoming concerned about the affect of my long-wearing liquid makeup on my skin - I was seeing my acne getting worse, wrinkles and pores getting more noticable. Anyway, after using Purminerals for just 3 days I noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin texture. I was so impressed I ordered other Purminerals skin care products. After one month I have been amazed to see my skin become baby-smooth, my pores and wrinkles become less noticable and my acne seems to heal itself much faster. Added to that, the makeup is beautiful and gives great full coverage.
I definitely recommend using the primer with this product as it really helps smooth out the skin, even out tone and helps the makeup to stay put all day.
The only negative I would say is that on its own I did not get any oil control from the 4-in-1. Although the primer helped a little, I ended up purchasing the Under Control Oil Regulating Gel and Perfectly Natural Everyday Balancing Makeup which have both made a big difference. If Purminerals could come up with an oil control version of the 4-in-1, I would be very grateful indeed. However I still think this (and all your products so far) are amazing. Thank you!"

"I just purchased this product today. I usually purchase make up from MAC; however, I did not want to spent the money and thought I would get more bang for my buck if I visited the Ulta Store to purchase dept. store brands. Well, I almost purchase a color that was too ashy for my skin tone. I am a woman of color and even in MAC, I have to mix colors to get the correct shade. When the sweet woman put it on my face i was in shock that one product provided so much and "matched my complexion!" I love it!!!! I felt like my face wasn't trying so hard....it just looked natural"

"I have a medium yellow tone skin tone and this foundation really blends well. In the summer (bc I tan extremely quickly) I use tan. I am asian with hundreds of old acne scars and this covers it up completely. LOVE IT!"

"This is the best multi--task powder/foundation I ever used! I've been experienceing some tone issues recently on a few areas on my face and this foundation does the job. It totally evens out my complextion and left my face with a shine free flawless look for hours. "This is my favourite makeup ever!
With every other makeup I've tried, by the end of the day I'd be eager to get home and wash my face because other makeup always felt like a layer of gunk on my face. Pur Minerals doesn't feel like makeup - I forget that I'm even wearing it.
It also looks completely natural. No matter how closely I look, it doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup, except that my skin looks great.
I'm prone to breaking out, but this has proven to have only positive effects on my skin."

Powder breaks apart easily

"Though I love the coverage and how this product lasts, I lose around 1/3 of it because it does not stay pressed. Sometimes it comes to me brand new, already shattered, it will look fine until I break the seal and open it and it crumples out of the case.
Just tired of paying for a product that can't keep its act together. The whole reason I switched to this product was it's portability but it fails also.
Though the price is reasonable when I looked at all my partially used compacts, I realized that if 1/3 of it was going to waste my true cost is higher. Also, the problems with breaking apart has been getting worse,so its time to move on to another product."

"In high school, I thought using concealer and slapping a bunch of loose powder on my face was good makeup. I finally realized it looked horrible and went on a quest for the perfect foundation. I tried countless drugstore brands and they all looked horrible. Nothing matched my skin. I went to an Ulta store for the first time, saw this, and decided to try it. I refuse to use any other foundation now! Perfect match for my skin tone, excellent coverage whether applied with sponge or brush, and it doesn't melt off my face. I even ordered the starter kit so I'd have a travel size of it with me all the time! I would recommend this to anyone."

"Over the last few years my skin has been changing - that and moving to a different climate has made it difficult to read what my "skin/makeup" requirements are. After trying other mineral products with horrible results, I was turned onto Pur Minerals at Ulta and WOW, I ended up using Pur Minerals on my wedding day. Recently I found out I was allergic to talc products and I no longer wish to use an liquid foundation on my face. This is so easy to apply, it feels great on (like nothing) and it looks even better on (like a better version of my own skin). I don't feel like I'm putting something horrible on my face when I use this. Even with all the humidity on the East Coast, this still doesn't turn oily or melt off my face at the end of the day like many products I’ve used in the past have.

"I was looking for a pressed powder foundation with natural ingredients and SPF for the summer. Found this at my local Duane Reade and gave it a try. I have oliy/acne prone skin and the coverage blew me away plus it lasts all day. I used to use a tinted moisturizer, concealer and powder which was too much for the hot weather and would look kinda cakey but not with this foundation...it is one product that does it all while keeping my skin looking natural and flawless!!"

"I bought the starter kit a few months ago and loved it. I've been using the 4-in-1 foundation ever since. I have oily/sensitive skin so most foundations feel heavy or make me break out. This product is light weight but has great coverage and looks natural. Plus it's super easy and fast to apply. I've gotten so many compliments on my skin since I've been using this and I've never had that before. I won't go a day without it."

"I had always used matte foundations, and I wasn't sure how well a powder would work. But I love it! I've used it for a few years now. It never breaks out my skin, it easily covers oily spots, and if I have a huge zit, I can put as much of it on as I want and it still blends in with the rest of my face."

"I travel a lot for business and pleasure, and I've tried just about every kind of makeup - liquid, powder, mineral, organic, cream-to-powder, dollar store, high end store, pyramid sales, online, friend referral, and so on. This is by far the best foundation on the market. I've even tried a shade lighter and darker and they all seem to match without any trouble.
It's fantastic that just this one compact is all I need on my face on a daily basis. No concealer, no finishing powder, no spf, and even if I misplace my brush I just scratch off a bit of foundation with the back of my fingernail, blend it with my moisturizing cream and it goes on just as well! It's well worth the price, especially when it's sold with a kit or a special offer. I love it!"

"I recently discovered Purminerals online and have been thrilled with this foundation. I love that I don't need an additional SPF. The light color is a perfect match to my color and love the coverage. I use the chisel brush to apply it all over my face and then use the utility brush for additional coverage for discolorations/scars, etc. Since my skin is combination I use a non-oily light moisturizer first and the green primer. Then the 4-in-one. Once I've finished using the Pur Minerals blush, bronzer, eye makeup and a final dusting of the "Powdered Light" translucent powder, I have an air-brushed appearance to my face. I got excellent results and lots of complements from that first day of using Pur Minerals and every day after! It's raised my self esteem and motivated me to wear it daily."

"I was drawn to this mineral when I first saw it on a youtube review. As a result, I went to my nearest ulta and purchased this. At first I did not like it as it just appeared too powdery. It made me look as if I had a layer of powder on my face - not attractive. However, as I read more reviews at numerous websites, I realized that I only needed to swipe over the foundation once with my brush rather than literally dip it in there continuously. The end results- a beautiful flawless face! My friend asked what I was wearing as it looked soo good!"
