Pros: separates the lashed beautifully

"Up until recently I hadn't heard much about Pur nor used it however was given the mascara by a friend. I have barely any visible eyelashes and find most of the previous mascara's I've bought have irritated and clumped after a short time. This one is awesome. No irritation, doesn't dry and stick to brush. Love it."

"The mascara goes on evenly, more volume enhancing than lengthening. But 1-2 hours after, noticed numerous flakes under the bottom lashes of both eyes. Irritated my eyes - I wear contacts."

Pros: sweatproof and waterproof
"My favorite mascara from another brand was discontinued and I found this mascara to be an excellent replacement. It does not rub off, nor leave "raccoon" eyes, nor does it flake as I like to comb my eyelashes after application for a natural look. It leaves my eyelashes looking thick and long. I also work out very hard and sweat a lot; this mascara does not run and is easily removed with soap and water. Therefore, it is basically waterproof and sweatproof.
My only concern is that this mascara may be discontinued as I can only find it on the website now. I have tried all the other mascaras that Pur Minerals has put out and they pale in comparison. Please don't discontinue this mascara; as the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!""

Pros: lengthens and curls
"This is so eye friendly I have put the tip on my eyeball and been able to just get it off with the tip of a Qtip without any eye irritation.
I have very long lashes that usually interfere with my glasses but with this mascara I can curl them upward for an excellent effect and keep them off my glasses.
I have read that these tend to clump but I find that it is only occasional,and if you keep a universal pencil close you can use the brush to separate and remove extra mascara if needed"

"I have recieved this mascara in several kits that I have purchases. I have to say, it provides and very good day time, natural look. It lenghtens, seperates, darkens your lashes without out being too exageration. However, I like exageration sometimes! So, I only use this during the day for a natural look. A work of caution: if you apply with a heavy hand, you will get clumps.
I gave it only three stars, because you can find comparable mascara at the drugstore for have the price. I would never pay full price for this."

"After reading some of the reviews of this product, I was a little nervous about trying it, but I'm very happy that I did.
Triple Impact Mascara delivers what it claims - it lengthens, thickens, and curls, and it looks natural.
I'll admit that occasionally I have to remove a small clump from the tip of an eyelash, but that's true of all mascara that I've tried. I'll certainly purchase it again."

Pros: excellent for sensitive eyes, definitely more curl

"This mascara did not cause me any irriation and did not flake or fade. I did find the clumping issue spoken of by other reviewers however, once I wiped the wand with a paper towel a few times, it stopped happening. I think its the design of the tube though and not the formula. It definitely gave me great curl and nice definition. Its buildable too so you can get as thick a lash look as you want if you apply more coats."

"After reading all the reviews left on the site about how clumpy this mascara is, I was a little worried that I might be as dissatisfied as other customers. I ordered the product anyway, because my eyes are extremely sensitive, and they've never reacted to anything made by Pur Minerals and thought it was worth a try. I must say, I was incredibly happy with my purchase. I found that the brush does come out of the tube clumpy, but that if you apply one coat slowly, with deliberate strokes like the application tip suggests, and let that dry before you apply another coat, my lashes are perfectly separated, coated, curled, and lengthened. I love the mascara!"

"I was extremely disappointed with this product. I love Pur Minerals and I ordered a show stopper from the Canadian shopping channel purely because I wanted to try the mascara. I find that too much comes out of the tube and as you apply it it leaves tons on product on your lashes making them clump. I find it does lengthen and curl but it's such a hassle to apply it. You need to have an extra brush handy to take away the extra product. It actually makes me look like I have less lashes."

"I agree totally with "Believer". I've used Pur Minerals makeup since they came on the market in Canada in Jan. 2002. I used to love this mascara and also noticed within the last year that it's become very wet and clumpy. If I didn't have an old tooth brush to brush out the clumps I'd look like Tammy Faye Baker! What's up? Even threw away a recently opened tube and got another thinking it was a bad batch. Within a week or so of opening the new one, same problems.
Otherwise, love their makeup. I've been using mineral makeup for over 10 years starting with Dermacolor in July 1998 (defunct since 2000) and would never go back."

"I have short eyelashes that jut straight out with virtually no natural curl. I had tried every mascara on the market and considered the situation to be hopeless until I found Triple Impact Mascara. I never thought it would be possible to have lashes like this - I don't even need to use an eyelash curler anymore! All other mascaras pale in comparison. Thank you Joli!"

"I recently went from Bare Minerals, to Pur Minerals. The mascara specifically. Clumps, clumps and more clumps. I have to wipe the brush off to remove the worst of them. Then, I have to tackle clumps on my lashes. And, ladies (or gents) don't throw away the lash brush, for you will need it to separate your lashes. If I still had the receipt, I would take it bake. The reason for two stars versus one. It does stay well, which I need and does not make my lashes hard like waterproof varieties I have used before"

"In my never-ending quest (since my teen years) for the best beauty products, I have to declare this mascara the best. What it does to my lashes - fabulous! The best look ever. And it stays that way all day. This is a must-buy - and I'm now a devotee. This is the first pur minerals product I've tried, and it probably won't be the last after this entirely gratifying mascara experience."

"I have bought this mascara for about two years. Initially I was very satifsfied by the product. The mascara lived up to its reputation.
Lately, however, I have been rather disappointed with the product. It seems dry and more flaky than in the past and the last two mascaras I have bought have clumped and smudged. I am ordering it one last time. If it clumps again, I am on the search for another mascara product. For the price of this mascara, it should be exceptional."

"When I first started workin at the Pur Minerals counter at dillards i was convinced that Rimmel had the worlds best mascara, but boy was I wrong! This mascara is wonderful! It does not clump up your lashes at all! It really does curl lengthen and add volume to your lashes. I would absolutly recommend this to anyone!"

"I found this to be a very clean mascara. And it layers well without looking clumpy and messy: one coat for a natural look, two coats nice for work/everyday. I've had no flakes, smudges - holds up through tears. Lashes feel soft, not hard and brittle.
Also you don't have to fight with it to get it off at night - comes off easy with nothing left behind. And, I don't have to use my eyelash curler."

Cons: constant clumping
"I purchased based on the raving reviews. Needless to say I was exttremely disappointed. Right out of the tube, first time, it comes out with blobs and clumps. After cleaning it off, I used it, wasn't overly impressed. Put the wand back in for more mascara, more clumps. Not worth the money or effort to simply apply mascara."

"I didn't think there was anything out there better than Estee Lauder XL, but Pur Minerals proved me wrong. I received this a gift with purchase, but will not be without this mascara going forward. It held up during worship service where I shed a lot of tears."
