"I got this as a gift from a friend. its nice when your feeling for shiny sparkly lips because of that it works well as night makeup & as day makeup to flatter a simple look"
"I have to say that this is one of the best lip glosses I have tried. I hate the stickiness of lip glosses but guess what! These aren't sticky! They go on smooth, they have good pigment. The only thing is, I noticed no 'plumping' at all. Reguardless, I like it, and will keep ording it."
Pros: non-irritating, no residue, smooth and shiny, feels nice :)
Cons: a little spendy
"I didn't use to be a person who used anything on her lips -- usually lip glosses, and even some chapsticks, would annoy me because they irritated my lips and/or left an icky residue that made it look like my lips were peeling.
I got a free sample of this lip gloss with a purchase of the 4-in-1 foundation (which I also love) and tried it. And that's when it hooked me! It's smooth and shiny, non-irritating and I just love it!"

Pretty Lips
Date:March 25, 2011
Pros: moisturizing, not sticky, easy to apply, pretty and natural
Cons: friends will envy you
"I purchased a Pur Minerals starter kit from Shoppers Drugmart. I was interested in trying the Pur Minerals line. I was on a mission as at Shoppers Drugmart I had enough Shoppers points to "treat myself". In order to benefit from using my Shoppers Points I had to "pick one more thing". In the past I have not been a huge lip gloss fan. I am more of a lipstick lady. To me, glosses either never lasted long enough or the colour was not what I had hoped for, then there was the sticky factor. However, I decided that since I had to use my points up I would try pout Plumping Lip Gloss in Rose Opal. I was very happy I chose this product. Some say this is too thick or sticky, not enough gloss. I think that if you apply it sparingly with the wand it is wonderful. My lips have not been this moisturized all winter. The colour is pretty and natural for a day time look, not perfumed like some that will irritate my throat. I will definitely keep this in my make up bag as a staple."

Love these Lip Gloss
Date:November 13, 2010
Pros: best moisturizer, nice colours, nice scent, non-sticky, i can buy in toronto, love them...
Cons: got rid of all other lip gloss...
"I buy all Pur Minerals from TSC in Toronto. The most I like about lip gloss... They are very Moisturizing, stays well, great smell (doen't feel like Castor oil) colours are so beautiful... actually, that's all I use and I love it...."
"This is my favourite lip gloss. It doesn't look too shiny or heavy. I prefer a more subtle look, so I apply it lightly and a little goes a long way. It lasts longer than other products I've tried."
"I love this line, most of the colours fit my dark complexion which was quite a surprise for me. My lips are already full but this gloss seems to make them not fuller but more even and defined. Only a little swish goes a long way for me.
I only wish the company would take out some of those questionable chemicals like petroleum and parabens. I notice that the newer products are more natural and "eco-friendly", so it should be easy to adjust the other products accordingly and it would be a great selling point for health-conscious people. I still use it because it works, but I may stop if I don't see much improvement in the coming months."
"This lip gloss has the right amount of shimmer with a nice selection of shades! The color is pretty much true to the look. However, I just wish it didn't smell the way that it did."
"I ordered the spiced barite which isn't as strong a colour as shows on my monitor. I can understand why some people think it is sticky, but I have found that a little goes a long way, and lasts quite a while too. I've never found a lip gloss that I would wear for more than a week until now...and I waited a month, just to be sure. It's great!"
Pros: hides dry cracked lips, helps dry cracked lips, depending on shade can be day or night wear, fun to use over lips with color already, long lasting
Cons: little slippery/slimy feeling at first, using the applicator has lack of amount controll, need a lip brush for good application
"I just went to Dillard's the other day to try out the lip gloss, see which color would suit me. Ive never been able to wear lip stick without looking like... im asking for it,if you know what i mean. plus, since ive moved from Georgia to Kansas, my already dry skin has hit a new low; dragging my lips along with it. I wanted something to help hydrate my lips, but also hide the fact that skin is pealing and looking all torn up. i had tried a lip gloss by Clinic, but that just dried my lips out in Georgia, so i figured Id try Pur. Granted, the lip gloss is a bit sticky and smooth, however i have yet to use/see a lip gloss that wasnt. And its not so sticky as to make my lips stick together like i have been rubbing them on candy. The shine ( which i was scarfed my make my lips stand out to much, specialy for day wear) isnt so out there that it makes my lips look like i stole them from someone else and plastered them on my own face. I bought rose opal for a more during the day thing, it hides my pealing lips and still looks relitivly natural. And for a night on the town, or just a night look in general Nealite Sunset, mainly because my lips are naturaly the rose opal shade. so with my lip shade and the gloss, it sort of blends to make a softer orange color then the gloss is originaly. Ive only used it once so far, however i already see my lips getting better, more hydrated. As for the 60% pout enhancement... well, i dont think i particularly need that, and have yet to see results from it( though truthfully im hoping i never do.)
In any case, a lot of women seem to be complaining about it being slimy feeling. And yes it can feel like that at first. I suggest using a lip brush to apply it rather then the applicator it comes with, that way you have more controll of the amount you put on. The spongy applicator has a tendency to put on to much, leaving you smearing a thick coat of gloss on and feeling a bit uncomfortable. If you put to much on, over time it will look like it wore off. Only because where you started off all slippery smooth and blinding shiney, youll now only have a mild glow and small bit of sticky feeling. However, if you use the lip brush and put it on inmoderation the first time, it will last at that level for the whole day. I even managed to be drinking and it not need touching up.
The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars, is the applicator it comes with. I like fast and simple. If you cant just be handed the thing and it work on its own people will think its bad all around. I think if it came with a lip brush to start with, there wouldnt be so many people annoyed with it."
"This gloss doesn't stay on well, is so tacky that strands of my hair get stuck in it, and there is no good color in reds. This is the first product here that I've tried that BE (Buxom) has beat. You might want to give it a shot if you see it in a kit collection, but on it's own it's not worth trying."
"I was expecting something great from this product and I didn't get what I expected. Its no different than any retail store lip gloss...nothing special about it. Is it horrible? NO. Is is great? NO. So I would reccommend getting something cheaper that would do the same job."
"I am definately a huge Pur fan and have been for a few years now..however, I would say the one and only product I do use off and on but am not a huge fan of are the lip glosses. I quite often purchase the "showstopper" from TSC in Canada and therefore a gloss is usually included. Like other users I find the glosses don't glide on like I would like them to and are a bit sticky and too shiny. I do prefer a gloss that's slick and a bit glossy but not a "metallic or intense" shine if that makes any sense? The ones I own I usually put on the Pur balm first so they go on a little better but don't last as long. On a positive note I do love the shea butter and lip tints for their ease of use and hydration and I would like to thank Joli for her wonderful products but I'm sorry this just isn't one of my favs....."

sticky and thick
Date:August 7, 2009
Pros: nice colors
Cons: thick and heavy, sticky, wears off fast
"I was not impressed with this lip gloss. It felt thick and sticky on my lips and did not stay. It kind of felt like my grandmothers thick lipstick I would try on when playing dress up as a kid. And I used only a very small amount. I was really dissapointed and have thrown it in my basket of "never use but to expensive to throw out" makeup. A waste of 17$ CAD."
"Unfortunately, when I bought this product, inspired by all the great reviews that it received, I was not the least bit impressed when I applied it on my lips. The colour I purchased was Pink Quartz, a colour which I thought would be a light pink to give my lips a natural look. When I received the tube, however, I discovered the colour to be that of a bubblegum pink, too bright and flashy for my tastes. I noticed that the product smelled funny, as if there was an unneeded aroma added to the product to make it smell nice. The application process was rather sticky, and it did not give me full coverage of my lips like I expected. It is also extremely difficult to remove because it leaves an afterglow of sparkles on your lips. Sadly, I cannot compare this product to that of the foundation, because I am not impressed at all. I hope you'd be able to change the formula to give you smooth, full coverage that is scent-free."
"I am in love with Pout Plumping Lip Gloss. The colour selection is amazing. The fact that the colours range from sheer to saturated is amazing. This gloss stays on lips for hours and the plumping ingredients are not irritating at all.. I now have a collection of colours and won't stop until I have them all! Try this gloss and you will love it."
"I was a person that never wore lipstick because my lips have issues with dryness and making lipstick in the past look nasty and clumpy on my lips. I took a chance on this because it was mineral and it works wonders on my lips. I now wear lipstick and lip gloss everyday because it moisturizes my lips so that they look and feel great. A must have for anyone with issues with their lips drying."
"I gave this product 5 stars because I got the color i was trying to achieve! However, I bought this in Pearl Creme and Rose Opal. The Pearl Creme is thicker than I would prefer but the color is amazing. Its that perfect Champagne pearlescent color! It is hard to spread evenly on the lips though compared to the Rose Opal. The Rose Opal is the perfect match to my real lip color which is quite pink. It just gives it a healthy glow. Perfect Product, I just wish the Pearl creme wasnt so thick and hard to spread."
