"At first, I was skeptical about the colors and texture, but now I really really love these cream shadows. The colors may seem far out, but look at each color individually, they're beautiful on any skin tone. And that comes from a girl who normally wears earth tones! Granted, I wear the tan shadow most, but the other colors are lovely when blended with other shades. I've really fallen in love with this product. It comes with a brush but I prefer using my finger, and you only need a little bit to go a long way. The mirror is nice and big and clear. The green, pink, and blue colors inspired me to try new looks which I love, and turns out that I don't just look good in neutral colors! Not to mention I adore the shimmer. Thanks Pur Minerals!"

"I really like this as an eyeshadow base. The product goes on smooth and creamy. I do not like using this by itself, but rather prefer to layer on eyeshadow to contour and so forth. The colors are bright but really get toned down once you do this!
The kit comes in a convenient case that mess proof! It also has a big mirror! =) However, I feel like the brush that came with it is moreover of a lip brush and isn't really good for the eyes.
Aside from that, the product is wonderful!"

too much glitter

"I really wanted to like these eyeshadows, but they didn't look good on me. They are loaded with shimmer and I think might look best on someone young and for night time.
That being said, these shadows dry to a powder finish that stays on. The blue and pink colors are quite bright. If they came in softer colors and were a lot more matte I would really like them."

"Excited to have just received this new cream shadow compact. First look I thought the colors to be nice soft shades for the Spring but they contain a lot of pigmentation. To keep it soft be sure to apply lightly. It is another great little compact, beautifully designed."

Pros: last all day, great package
Cons: the brush is not really good for applying, would like more neutral colors
"I got my kit yesterday and, of course, I tried it today. I did my make-up this morning around 7:00 AM and I just washed my face at 11:00 PM. Before I did, I looked at my eyes and nothing had changed!! Unbelievable! I never could wear cream shadow because I got streaks and lines but not with this one. The colors are beautiful and although they may seem too bright, when applied, they blend perfectly. I used my fingers because the brush is not really picking anything, it's useful for blending or lining. I love it!!!"

Pros: great wash of colour
"This collection surprised me a little bit. I found the colours to be too bright at first, but a little goes a very long way. I found it easier to use my finger to sweep on a wash of colour, and the brush to add accents and lining. I prefer to use this colour as a wash underneath some of my powdered shadows, as I feel that I have more control then.
A word about the packaging--it is substantial. I noticed however that each of the colour squares can be popped out, and I hope this means Pur will offer replacement shades in the future. I would love to see some more neutral tones. The mirror is of a size that is useful, and I like having a brush in with the set. However, if there won't be replacement shades in the future, then I think this packaging is not environmentally friendly."

Love the cream shadows but need better colors

"I was very excited to see that Pur is making cream shadows. The shadow goes on well and lasts long, however I'm not a big fan of the bright colors. I feel like a teenager when I wear bright colors. The tan color is great, but the others are very bright. They can be toned down by only using a little and blending it well. It would be nice if this palette was offered in more neutral colors....browns, grey, plum, mauve, etc."
