Pros: pressed not loose (not the mess), good for sensitive skin, easy to travel with, color match is good can use two colors for season, flawless look when using primer, washes off easily, gentle for contact lens wearers
"I have tried several mineral foundations. I keep coming back to PUR. I like the special ingredients version even better. With the primer (apply and allow to dry), this foundation is near perfect. I can wear it light or heavier. I can reapply late in the day, if needed. The market has many loose powder foundations, but I don't understand how they can be better for you when you breathe in all that powder (I have done it - horrible). The pressed is the way to go. I don't use the brush much. I use a foundation max coverage brush (more gentle and can get around eyes) and then a basic power brush to sweep across the face. This one is a keeper for me."

"I decided ti start using this product when I was pregnant 6 years ago and I have never been able to top the coverage or satisfaction I get from Pur Minerals. My skin is very uneven with red spots but once I apply this powder my skin is even toned and glows!!"

"This is the best makeup for the traveler. I have used other mineral makeups but they are in powder form and make a mess in my makeup bag and when you open the container the product goes everywhere, what a mess !!!! "I have been using this makeup for at least 5 years - maybe even longer! And no matter what else I try, I ALWAYS come back to this. And then I wonder :why did I even bother trying anything else? Sometimes I get caught up in the hype and advertising I guess of new products...but none can really compare to Pur Minerals -- for sure NO other mineral based powder is better, believe me, I have tried them ALL.
This stuff is great on sensitive skin, never makes me break out. And you dont feel guilty sleeping in it every now and then!
Its not messy,and super easy to apply. You can also "build" it up for areas that need more coverage!
I am never without this 4 -in - 1 foundation poweder and the mineral glow. Love them both!"

"I had been wearing another popular mineral brand for about 6 years before trying pur about a year ago. I honestly don't know how I went that long without having pur in my life! "I have had acne issues as I got older. I'm 35. When I got a facial, the woman told me to try mineral makeup instead of traditional. I am very picky about the brands I use because I want it to be a company who not only has great products, but does good and is environmentally conscious. After a lot of study, I tried Pur Minerals, and have been so happy with it. This foundation is their signature product. I think it covers very well, feels super light on the skin and looks great. I'll definitely keep coming back."

"I have always had sensitive skin and been prone to breakouts. This foundation is not only a great cover-up (evens out skin tone in a big way) but doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores. I love being able to wear it without worrying that it will cause more breakouts. Plus, it makes you look really natural. In addition to all of these great things one compact lasts me months! "At last I have found a foundation for my sensitive skin and eyes. This makeup goes on smoothly, doesn't streak like liquids, can be applied as sheer or as layered as you want. It does NOT emphasize lines like other minerals I have tried. Age spots and under eye cirdles are diminished greatly. Stays true to color all day. I really like the new formula with skincare ingredients that make my skin feel smoother. Please don't ever stop making this product!"
