"I have tried different mud masks over the years and NONE compare to this one! I have very oily skin and this mask works wonders for my face - and it doesn't dry out my skin like most products that have salicylic acid in them. Perfect for exfoliating the skin and drying up pimples overnight."

"I never expected much from mask but this one OMG OMG is excellent i only used it for 3 times and i have notice my skin is so much more bright and soft and even than ever LOVE IT, it is worth the money and more!!!!!!"

"its nice when you put it on put SO hard when you get it off. i honestly dont think its worth all the trouble. origins clay mask cleans my face better. i though origins is more natural. going back to origins when i finish this bottle"

"I figured from the reviews this stuff was going to be pretty good but it's better than very good, it's amazing. I have super-sensitive, super-fair skin that's easily irritated; which is how I ended up using PurMinerals in the first place. I was hesitant to switch skin care routines because I figured there'd be that awful adjustment period but there really wasn't. This mudd masque draw out EVERYTHING your regular routine misses. I use it once a week and leave it one for about 15 minutes...afterward my face feels so clean and tight!"

Not Chattem's Mudd Masque but best replacment

Cons: more expensive than chattem's original mudd masque, not as effective as original mudd masque
"After Chattem decided to discontinue their amazing product, I was forced to find a replacement. I only had to use Chattem's "Original Mudd Masque" once or twice a month to keep my skin clear. I have terribly oily skin, blackheads all around, my back, face, nose almost all my upper body.
Have had acne for almost 20 years now. Chattem's product cleared them out instantaneously. This product is not as effective, maybe after 2-3 applications, but still, very good non- the less.
Compared to Chattem's mask, I have to use one about once a week. Again, not as effective, but I haven't seen anything better so here I am re-ordering.
I have tried a dozen similar products on the market and this one is the best. I even tried to produce my own, buying different mineral combinations and chemicals, but still nothing has come close to Chattem's secret ingredients.
This is a good buy if you have oily skin, blackheads and acne issues.
They could make a stronger version of this."

"Let me tell you.. i had some blemishes when i first used this and hoped that this would fix the issues with my skin...well i will never go without this product in my bathroom...i wanted to leave it on forever but it is really tight after 5 min...i couldnt even laugh, it was interesting...started to tingle too but in a good way. I was secretly hoping it would just suck out all the bad stuff that is causing my breakouts. Well immediately i saw results, no kidding, my skin was smoother and softer, and the mud just washes right off...i am so impressed with this product..i love the fact that tsc offered it two for one!!! my skin this am looked less red and the blemishes are healing alot quicker than without it...."

"OMG OMG OMG! I read the reviews about this and I was skeptical, but eager to try this masque out. I applied this in the evening before bed and when I first put it on, I felt a very slight tingling that only lasted for a second, once it started drying, I started to worry. I couldn't move my face, except blink my eyes and barely move my lips. I left it on for 30 minutes and when I took it off, the skin on my face looked AMAZING! It was firm, even and looked gorgeous! Even the next day, my skin still looked amazing! I'm for sure going to continue to use this masque - by far better then any facial I've ever had!
Now if they could just make something that could do the same for the crows feet around my eyes!"

"I got a sample at a Pur Mineral demonstration and this mask works wonders! I placed it on my cleansed face, waited and when I removed it, my skin looked sooo even and made it soo soft! I love all kinds of masks and try many different types. I would say that this is up there with one of the best ones."

Sucks Out Yours Pores Real Good!!

"I have to say I've never had a mask quite like this one. I had ones that tighten and/or peel-off. But this is an extraordinary mask.
It sucks out pores so well that my nostrils actually flared slightly.
I've over 40 and tried a lot of masks and peels, this is the best so far. Like going for a spa treatment!"

"Everything you hear about this product is true! The minute you put it on it feels like a vacuum has been attached to your face -- in a good way! The first thing I noticed was the "pulsing" sensation I felt at the tip of my nose as it started drying. This feeling spread to the rest of my face and I could literally feel it sucking all of the gunk out of my skin! After I rinsed it off my skin was a little red (so don't use it right before a big night out) but once that faded it looked amazing!!!

"I have been needing a facial for a while now, due to how clogged up my pores were. I got the smaller size of this mask and decided to try it last night. My skin started to tighten before I even finished putting in on! I left in on a little too long (about 45 minutes) so when I got it off the first thing I noticed was a sunburn like redness, but I didn't see any pores! I went to my magnified makeup mirror, took a look, and sure enough I had no need for a facial. This masque removed practically every impurity I had! What an amazing product! I read some of the other reviews and saw that some use it overnight; when you first try this do up to 30 minutes and see how your skin reacts. This product is so amazing, I ordered the full size this morning! <grin>"

"Absolutely love it!! I used it for the first time the other day and it was fantastic! I loved how tight my skin felt while the mask dried. The washing part was a bit messy 'cause the mud bits splashed all over my bathroom sink. However, the results were incredible! My face was sooooo soft and even the next day the softness remained. But, don't orget to follow up with a lotion if your have dry skin! GREAT PRODUCT!!"

"I always like reading reviews..never take time to write one. This product however demands one.I have tried several masks before. They ususally have the ground walnut shell and leave the gritty feeling that is difficult to remove. I was looking for the old mud masque that tightened and drew all the impurities from my skin. Found it! You will not be disappointed."
