"I have heard for quite awhile what a great product this is, but I must confess I have been faithful to MAC for 12 years and was apprehensive about trying something new. I went in to ULTA told them i was interested, they did my face and I loved it so of course I bought it. I then got scared that it was just them who had made it look so good, so I came home washed it all off and did it myself and low and behold its true it does look great and its easy to put on and it feels like air. Even better 10 hours later I still looked freash faced and even my old friend MAC couldn't make it all day with out a touch up or two. So Thank you so much and I hope the readers will take a chance like I did, trust me you will not be disappointed!!!!"

"All you need is a couple of minutes to put this on and you'll get flawless results. I just ordered this kit to have a smaller size for travel. I've been using purminerals for about 1 year now. I have sensitive skin and this product does not make me breakout. The only con with this product is that I do still use a little stick concealer to cover up my dark under eye circles."

"I have wanted to try mineral make up for a while. I dont buy make up without trying it first and the girl at Dillads did mine yesterday. It looked somewhat nice at first but my pores looked very enlarged and every little blemish was visible and my skin is pretty nice looking usually. The longer I had the make up on the worse it started looking and caking up and all little lines and pores were very visible. My face felt itchy and one of the powders had a distinct weird smell. My face also felt oily and heavy like I had a bunch of make up on. I am not sure if the girl just put too much or what but from a further away it looked kind of ok but at any close distance it was horrible with even small blemishes and imperfections very visible and even more distinct than without make up on."

"I was desperately looking for new makeup foundation, and was looking through the internet to find what foundation was good and I came upon this! A lot of people said it worked for them, so I decided to get it. BOY they were sooo right, this kit is fantastic. I have Combination/Oily skin, and it helped control my oil way more than my Estee Lauder double wear foundation. And it covers my imperfections very well, it barely looks like its on, ever since I started using it, my skin has gotten better! This kit is definitely a deal, the amounts they give you are pretty generous too. I was so amazed. I don't really use the blush, but The mineral glow & foundation I LOVE LOVE LOVE. Thanks Purminerals for giving me great skin!"

"I have a love/hate relationship with this product and I've been using it for two weeks.
First of all, let me state the pros. This 4-in-1 powder is compressed so it IS fairly clean and easy to apply on face. I do love the shimmer and glow it gives to my skin without looking too shiny or caked on, although it can be noticeable when too much is put on. The marble blush is nice for it gives my cheeks a pink color without being overdramatic. The bronzer I don't really see a difference, but maybe I'm not putting on enough. Those are as far as the pros go.
For the cons, the 4-in-1 powder claims to be a concealer. It does not conceal much if at all and especially doesn't work on very pigmented scars and spots. If I layer the powder on my face, it becomes too caked on and it looks unnatural. Also, this product does not last all day. Sometimes it dries my skin, but mostly, within four hours, I can see my T-zone shining with oil and I start to feel as if my face is covered with make-up. This product also makes me break out, not a lot but wherever the product is applied, I can see bumps and zits the next morning.
I bought purminerals peach concealer and under control mattifying gel to see how it would work out with the starter kit and so far the results are not what I'm hoping for.
Bottomline: make-up does feel smooth when applied, but if you expect this to be a miracle do-it-all product, then it's not going to live up to the hype."

"This product does exactly what it promises. I love the coverage...very light but covers what I need it to cover. Its not messy like loose powders and not heavy like liquid foundations and it comes with blush and bronzer, which most foundations kits don't give. Great kit for starters."

"I was very wary of the Blush Medium because I am someone with quite a bit of pink in my skin. I thought briefly about getting Golden Medium, but I was afraid it wouldn't be right for me. I'm glad I got the Blush Medium. It's perfect! Yes, it looks a little pink, but when you put it on, it looks great, not pink, just a nice cool tone, and this is without any green primer. I'm very happy with it, and even though this is a starter kit, the sizes are generous!"

"I'm an actor and was desperately seeking some new make-up but tired of buying so many different products that ended up going to waste. How delighted was I to find Pur Minerals at the Shopper's Drug Mart (in Canada). The beauty consultant was fantastic in finding the right shade for me. I only wear alot of make-up for auditions so I didn't want to spend so much . I like how the 4-in-1 can go stronger for special occasions or in my case auditions, or just lightly for everyday use. I really love the concealer part, the beauty consultant and the video on this site, really helped me learn how to apply it. It's amazing.
I have very sensitive skin as well. A few years ago I was using a well-known brand and my skin was so bad that a make-up artist working with me, demanded I return it right away. I have been using Pur Minerals 4-in-1 for a couple weeks now and it DOES NOT IRRITATE my skin.
One morning, before going to an audition, I had my five year old girl take a photo of me. I have acne scarring and it looks like my skin is flawless. It looks like I had airbrushing done which I have had done on me for acting jobs! The Mineral glow is wonderful too. And the Brush with the kit makes it very worth it.
Was not too crazy about the Universal Marble Pink Powder. I read in previous reviews about the odour, which is a bit strong. As well, it irritated my eyes a bit. I just put it on my cheeks and it still irritated my eyes.. Maybe I was having a allergic week. I will try again in a couple weeks, hopefully it will be successful, since it does look good.
The kit is worth it for the brush and 4-in-1 and bronzer alone. THANK YOU Pur Minerals"

"This foundation is great because it leaves my skin looking smooth and almost flawless. Before I have been using Bare Escentuals and their foundation did not cover up my acne scars. With the Pur Perfection Starter Kit, the coverage is great because it does cover up most of my acne scars. I have gotten compliments on my skin immediately after switching from BE. The application is easy to apply and is much cleaner than loose powder. I am definitely sticking to this foundation because it gives great coverage, and it does not make me break out!!"

"Went to Dillards with my 16 year old daughter to get her a make over and started on a makeup routine that was quick and easy for her. She is very low maintence and when she went out anywhere she was always wanting me to do her make-up and sometimes I just didn't have time. I am a BE user and have been for 5 years but, the pouring the loose minerals in the lid, (oops too much!) swirling, tapping and buffing, layering, seemed to over whelm her. This extremely nice salesgirl introduced her to purminerals. The 4 in 1 foundation is perfect for her! Oh so easy! A few swipes across her face and it looks perfect!! She went from never wearing make-up to wearing it everyday!! We bought over $120 worth of product! Almost everything she put on my daughters face. They had this starter kit on sale for $17.50 and then an 50% off on top of that so I bought her and me one. Here it comes...OMG!! I love this product! After my BE is gone I will be switching! I have been alternating days of wearing BE and Purminerals. I love my Purmineral days better. This kit is a perfect trial kit. The bronzer is the perfect shade for me but too dark for my daughter (we bought her a full sized one in her shade). So I get the bronzer out of her kit! :) The blush is perfect for everyone! If you are looking for a flawless face, this is the product for you!"

"I've tried Bare Minerals.. the infomercials made it look so great and people's skin were supposedly "flawless", but it was a lie, i tried Bare for 6th months and it broke me out badly ! Bare's foundation made my skin looked dry and cakey, it's ugly.. and bcause of it i gave up on minerals make up for a little over a year now... then i found PUR MINERALS ! it changed me !!! when i wear PUR's foundation/ kit no one can tell i'm wearing make up, my friends thought i did something to my skin because it looks natural and i love how it makes your skin glow !!!! BEAUTIFUL ! I LOVE PUR MINERALS ! also keep in mind that i have VERY sensitive skin with combination skin type.. so it's very harrd to me to find the "right" foundation and make up, but I am now becoming a pur minerals girl !
PS: i went to disneyland wearing PUR MINERALS .. it lasted me the whole day ( from 8 am - 10pm) even with sweats !"

"I was in my local drugstore (Shoppers) here in BC, when I came across this line. I waited for a few days before I purchased this kit to try, when I did try it - WOW! I love that it doesn't feel as if I am wearing anything on my face and it is protecting it at the same time. I usually wear nothing or a tinted moisturizer most days, but now my face looks polished when I wear the 4in 1 and the marble powder. Some days when I am just at home or running errands I use the mineral glow.
Get this kit! It is a great buy and works how you want it to, just dust on a little more for more coverage."

"As a 33 year old AA I tend to be very hesitant in purchasing cosmetic or skin care products that everyone else may seem to rave about. Mainly because for a very long time unless a cosmetic product was made by an AA for an AA, it was more than likely not going to work for our skin. However, I decided to give Pur Minerals a try. I was walking around Dillard's department store and came across this product. It was on sale, so I figured I'd give it a try. The color I chose was "Deeper."....and Oh how I love it! It makes my skin glow! Previously I would use a foundation and then apply Cover girl mineral powder to give me the glow that I wanted. It was ok...it kind of did the job but it took too long to apply all of my makeup. With Pur Minerals it doesn't take long at all. When I apply the product It feels great going on, and it's quick! I get the perfect result that I'm looking for, and I received compliments on my appearance as well. I love this product, it really works!"
