Pros: simplicity of color lineup, perfect brush storage, rich pigments
Cons: spoiled me against newer palette
"I've used shadows all my life, but I've never met one that's held this deep and true of a color. With most palettes from other brands, subtle changes in a tint or hue side-by-side seemed redundant and ridiculous, as the powders all appeared the same once applied to the skin--even the priciest brands. But THIS shadow applies true to the color on the palette, and it stays that way unless you deliberately blend it with something else.
Only drawback is that the simplicity of this lineup and the space for the included brush is now so important to me, I'm going to miss it in the newer palette, which clusters the colors and doesn't appear to offer a brush or a space to store one. From the image I'm already lost trying to find my favorite contrasts, and I can't see a space for the brush--which is critical to using the product!"
